An Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) is a highly skilled healthcare professional, often with a background in nursing, who has completed advanced education at the Master’s level. They have a broad scope of practice and can provide comprehensive care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of complex conditions.
Ben has experience working in secondary care, particularly in acute medical and high dependency units. He can see patients with undiagnosed, undifferentiated medical conditions and make treatment decisions, including ordering necessary investigations.
Additionally, Ben has completed an Independent Prescribing qualification, allowing him to prescribe medications for a wide range of common conditions that present in primary care.
