Meet the Team

Our team provides invaluable support to both our patients and the rest of the team working here in the surgery.

We would like you to meet:

Name and role: Robyn Colvin, Nurse team lead

Background: “I have been a nurse for nearly 20 years. I spent over 8 years working in Intensive Care, and for the past 12 years I’ve been in General Practice. I am the Lead Nurse at 'The Wells'. I have a keen interest in diabetes, and am lead of the diabetes team helping to run the service at our practice. I also work alongside the CDSN team once a month in the Spoke Service, seeing complex diabetic patients. I’m also currently completing my non-medical prescribing qualification to further expand the care I provide.”

Fun Fact: “I have a love of running, my best achievement to date was running a Half Marathon in 1hour and 43mins.”

Name and Role: Sophia Quinnell, Administrator and immunisation lead

Background: “I joined the practice in 2022 after leaving retail, searching for a role I could make a difference in. I had never worked in an office environment or patient care. Since working at the practice for the last 3 years within the admin team, I have learned numerous skills including filing patient clinic letters and dealing with prescription requests to understanding certain medical terminology. Through determination and a strong drive to succeed, I consistently took on additional tasks independently, which contributed to my progression to Immunisation Lead.”

Fun fact: “I recently got married and moved a week later. The cats are in charge, we just live there!”
