Flu Vaccinations 2025 to 2026
The NHS flu vaccination programme for 2025–26 is starting soon, and our practice will be running dedicated clinics for eligible patients.
Who Can Get a Free Flu Vaccine?
From 1 September 2025:
- Children aged 2 or 3 (on 31 August 2025)
- School-aged children (Reception to Year 11 – offered via school)
- Pregnant women
- Children aged 6 months to under 18 in clinical risk groups
From 1 October 2025:
- Adults aged 65 and over
- Adults aged 18 to 64 in clinical risk groups
- Residents in care homes
- Carers and household contacts of people with weakened immune systems
- Frontline health and social care workers
How to Book
Appointments will be available to book from 1st September 2025
Children and pregnant women can be seen from September.
You can book your appointment once open:
- Via a booking link sent via SMS
- Speaking to reception when visiting/calling
Flu and Covid vaccination will be given to Housebound patients by Cranbrook Pharmacy, contracted by ICB. The pharmacy team will be in touch with patients directly.
School aged children flu and other vaccines:
If your child is home educated or has missed an immunisation in school, contact Kent Community Health, on 0300 123 5205 or contact them via email.
Why It’s Important
Flu can be serious, especially for those with long-term health conditions or weakened immune systems.
