West Kent Health
West Kent Health Ltd was formed in 2015 with the vision of strengthening local General Practice in our area. We are a company limited by shares with our member practices being the shareholders. We are currently formed of all 56 practices in West Kent.
Our ethos is that of a 'not for profit' organisation. We value General Practice and feel that by strengthening our members we are also benefitting the patients in our local communities.
Our Board of Directors consists of dedicated and enthusiastic local GPs and Practice Managers.

Complaints and Feedback
We welcome feedback to tell us what we are doing right and what we can improve.
Friends and Family Test
The NHS Friends and Family Test (FFT) was created to help service providers and commissioners understand whether patients are happy with the service provided, or where improvements are needed. It's a quick and anonymous way to give your views after receiving NHS care or treatment.
NHS Ratings and Reviews
We encourage our patients to let us know about their positive experiences at our practice. If you'd like to leave a review, please do so on the NHS website
If you've had a bad experience we'd also like to know. View our complaints procedure.
GP Patient Survey
The GP Patient Survey is an independent survey run by Ipsos MORI on behalf of NHS England. The survey is sent out to over two million people across England. The results show how people feel about their GP practice.
Care Quality Commission
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) makes sure hospitals, care homes, dental and GP surgeries, and all other care services in England provide people with safe, effective, compassionate and high-quality care and encourages them to make improvements where possible.
Our overall CQC Rating was: GOOD
Patient Participation Group (PPG)
The Practice strives to provide excellent healthcare. We welcome constructive feedback and suggestions to help shape our services to serve the needs of all of our patients. Our Patient Participation Group (PPG) meets at the practice to provide a forum for discussion about the practice.

The surgery is participating in the national programme of post-graduate training for doctors by offering a placement in a GP practice to doctors who have graduated and completed at least one year as a hospital house officer. The aim of the placement is to enable these doctors to continue their development in understanding the management of unwell patients and to appreciate the way we look after our patients in the community. The doctor in training is supervised by either Dr Sian Thomas or Dr Steve Kirk-Smith both of whom have received specific training for this role.
The surgery is accredited on an annual basis; for more information, please contact KSS Deanery.
If you prefer not to have a student sitting in, please let the doctor or receptionist know.
